Our second day of the season, December 5th, brought sunshine as well as an increasing number of bald eagles to the Skagit River. We saw seven bald eagles at the confluence of the Skagit and Sauk Rivers during our morning walk! A few were fighting over a salmon.
It’s hard to know what impact this experience might have on the life of this six-month old boy. Let’s hope that he lives to a ripe old age! And let’s work together to do all we can to ensure that the salmon runs of the Skagit River increase and prosper during his lifetime and beyond.
