BALD EAGLE CENTER RECEIVES $5000 FOUNDATION GRANT

The Skagit River Bald Eagle Awareness Team (SRBEAT), has received grants from the Puget Sound Energy Foundation to assist in the education & program offerings at the Skagit River Interpretive Center, located at Steelhead Park, Rockport Washington.

“Puget Sound Energy has been a cornerstone partner in the Upper Skagit River Bald Eagle Festival over the last five years, and this PSE Foundation Grant supports our continued education and information work at our new Interpretive Center.” SRBEAT focuses on habitat conservation, stewardship and restoration and offers opportunities to better understand the wildlife of the Skagit watershed; in particular eagles and salmon.
